The count down is on, only 4 weeks to go!! With us both being jobless and having no fixed address, it is all starting to feel real.

The Countdown

Looking back at how this trip has come to be is surreal. I remember first mentioning “Mid Life Gap Year” and it didn’t take long before I got a message back saying “Never heard of this mid life gap year before, but you have sold me on it completely”.

From there, all it took was a laminated map, some sharpies, our best friends chaperoning and a litre of sangria for our plans to be in full motion.
